It would be amazing if the Scroll Progress element had an option (perhaps a checkbox) to respond to the actual content only. (Plus whatever is above it).
For example, many users have sidebars that reflow below the content, often doubling the actual content area in height. This would improperly show the content scroll progress. This might affect the conversion rates.
