Would love some OpenType feature controls on text elements when the used font supports them.
Which Open Type features are you in need of?
Ligatures, Small Caps, Old-Style Numerals, Stylistic Alternates, Contextual Alternates, Swashes, Fractions, Ordinals…
Ordinals and fractions especially but there are many. You already added font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums; to the Countdown Element which is cool but if you’d want to offer more feature control you’d probably need an advanced text options panel, like what Figma has for example. This would provide total type control natively.
