Feature Request - Menus - "Navigation Collapsed" without the toggle, for Mobile Footers

Hey Team

Can you please put on the radar allowing for the “Navigation Collapsed” element to be usable without the requirement for a Toggle.

You can see in the below, a website using a Nav Collapsed style menu for their Footer Navigation (no toggle of course).

This style is also more likely to be accepted within Google Webmasters, as I’m seeing a lot of warning/error notifications from Webmasters recently for text being too small or close together on mobile.

This is most likely the Footer Navigation, as its historically set to a smaller font on Desktop, but we are currently unable to render a ‘larger’ layered Navigation within Pro.

Cheers,
Sam

We will definitely keep this in mind. In fact, the element does have a bit of delineation already. Notice it behaves the way you’re describing in the content builder. We did that because most of the time (similar to your example) in a content setting you wouldn’t want the toggle. I’ll open a feature request to make it an option.

As a workaround, you could make a global block with a single navigation element and place that in your footer.

Thanks Alex - great idea re. Global Blocks option. Have implemented it seamlessly.

Great! Glad to hear that.
