Feature request: Manual Excerpt on Pages

When I use the add_post_type_support function for enabling excerpts on pages, this shows up in Cornerstone:

This is something that would be useful to have permanently, without the need for custom functions.

Having excerpts everywhere, including pages, is very useful because then we can have unified loopers that are able to pull in different post types targeting same fields. A search results page would be a good example.

This would be a nice spot for the new global settings. I think the problem is there is a lot of different post type supports and potentially different post types. So getting a UI for all that might take some time. I’ll add in the feature request for post Pro 6.7. Have a great day.
