Hey guys, would it be possible to add a '- ’ option next to the ‘x’ in the code editor? I often find myself shortly resizing the code editor window when I want to see what my page looks like, to not loose my editing history in the editor I resize it because closing it loses the history.
So with a ‘-’ option I can just quickly have a view at my website without losing my editing history and toggle between its visibility.
I was about to tell you that “ctrl+shift+a” actually hides the UI, but that doesn’t hide the code editor windows. So that’s something we’ll definitely do. I think we could definitely do something about history as well if it’s resetting itself on reopenings. Are you suggesting the “-” should just show a floating bar? Would be nice if it had all the features of most floating windows. Like maximize from a button and double click.
Exactly, that would be perfect! Just for the record, the history does stay active when using the undo and redo buttons, but I don’t like to use this in my editor as I don’t see exactly what changes are happening. When using ctrl-z I can see what changes in the editor ‘live’. Thanks Charlie!
