Feature request: A way to control individual slide intervals

Sliders are often used to display text like testimonials, and having them on interval autoplay is popular.

The obvious problem with this is the user experience. No matter how long or short the content is, the intervals remain the same.

We could calculate the reading time (Number of words / 200) (or 238 if we were being more precise) and use that as the duration if we could influence the slide interval. It would be even better if this were powered by JS that does the automatic calculations.

Another nice thing to have in this case (and what has been requested before) is a pause on hover feature.

Recently I’ve seen Apple implement a slow down on hover effect on some of the sliders on their website. Here’s an example of that: https://www.apple.com/services/
Hover over a slider on that page and you’ll notice the slider slows down. I think that’s pretty cool.

Both a pause on hover and slow down on hover option would be nice additions to the Slider Element.
