Feature Image to display at top of each post and page - spanning entire width

Hi,

I need the featured image for each blog post to span the entire width of the page - it needs to be a large image, similar in size (maybe a bit smaller) as the one on my homepage - http://www.butfirstgiftshop.com. I want each post to look like that. Additionally, I need all of the posts and pages to display a sidebar, but I do not want the homepage to display a sidebar.

How can I do this? I’ve been playing around with this and can’t figure it out.

Hello @mkopka,

Thanks for writing to us.

You can use the Layout builder for the single post details page where you can use set the full width.

Please have a look at our documentation to learn more about how to create a single post layout.

You may check out the video as well.

For the sidebar, you need to go to the Theme Option—>Layout and Design—>Content Layout.

Theme-Options-Pro (9)

If you don’t want a sidebar on any specific page you need to select the page Template —>as Blank - No Container | Header, Footer

Hope it helps
Thanks

This doesn’t answer my question. My question is, how can I get the featured image for each post to display full width across the top - so that it looks like my home page? I want to pull in the featured image so that I don’t have to go through all my posts and do this manually. This shouldn’t be that difficult - this setting has been in nearly every WP theme I’ve ever used, yet I can’t seem to figure it out in your interface.

Hi @mkopka,

I have checked the single post page and found that the featured image is showing in full width and smaller in height as you are expecting. It seems that you have already implemented what you are expecting.

Thanks
