Fading adjacent slides in the carousel

Hello there,

I have tweaked a carousel so we can see adjacent slides. I set a max-width on the slide container - is this the best way to do this?

Also, we would like the adjacent slides to be slightly faded before and after they come into focus - please see the attached image. Is this possible?

What you are trying acheive is already available with the Standard Testimonial Slider as shown in the following screenshot.
