Excerpt allowed HTML tags don't work

This solution don’t work for me:

Blog paragraph spacing - excerpts - Integrity

If I choose to use Full Post Content, paragraphs appear as written, with a blank line between paragraphs. However, when choosing to show just an excerpt, all spacing disappears between paragraphs, making posts hard to read. How do I get normal line spacing in an excerpt? Thanks, Jeff

I get this error:
