Event Date (instead of Publication Date)

Hi there,

I have the good-looking Church template installed.
With Events, instead of the publication date, I’d like the actual event date to be visible.
I can set a date in the future, but it doesn’t publish the event until then.
Is there a way to do this?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your site and It seems like you’re using posts to display events. Please note that in Posts the publication date of the post will be displayed in the post meta, I’d recommend you to setup events using Modern Events Calendar plugin (see https://theme.co/docs/modern-events-calendar) which will allow you to display the actual event date.

Thanks a lot! I guess what would work even better would be a code that ignores the publication date of a blog entry. In other words, a code that does show the publication date but publishes it before the publication date already. Are you aware of such a code? Thank you in advance!
