ETHOS Category order And upgrade to Pro

Howdy folks,

I am running X ETHOS stack and would like to change the order of categories shown when hovering over the featured image of a featured post in the carousel above the mast head.
I believe the CSS identifier for the category display I am referring to is
class .x-post-carousel-meta => span class .entry-cover-categories.

I installed the plugin Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order and re-ordered there, but I do not notice any changes in the front end.

Secondly, I purchased a license upgrade to Pro Theme quite a while back, but have not upgraded the actual site, because I am unsure if it will mess anything up in my ETHOS stack.

What is the safest way to upgrade my site without damaging the existing stack and site settings?

Regretfully there is no option to change the category. It would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

To upgrade the theme safely, I would suggest you please take the full backup of your site files and database or it would be best if you could copy your live site to a staging server and then upgrade the theme.
