Essential Grid can't store saved grids

Hi,

I am using the latest versions available (ie. Wordpress v. 5.4, X Theme v. 7.2.3 and Essential Grid v. 2.3.6). I have created one grid using the bundled Essential Grid. Although I can save and use it on my site, I cannot see it in the list of grids (under Essential Grid menu) in order to choose and change it. The list is empty, it only contains the first raw with the column headers (i.e. id, name, shortcode, actions, settings, modified) and no grids at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin with no success on this matter. Does anybody know why this happens?

Hi @dimitrisco,

Thank you for the credentials, this is a weird one, do you have any server-side caching features? If so, please clear it. And please address that issue Site Address and Wordpress Address issue, that should say https: not http as it seems you installed an SSL certificate.

Cheers!

@friech,

I don’t know what to do with the server’s cache. It seems that I have no problems in other sites that live on the same server. I have fixed the https in wordpress. Is there any way to fix the problem I have with Essential Grid after all?

Thanks for your attention!

Hello @dimitrisco,

I have logged in again and investigated the issue. I can confirmed that once you create a grid, it will not be displayed in the Ess. Grid Overview. We cannot recreate this in our local testing servers. It seems that this issue is only happening in your site. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue still exist, please re install WordPress core and the Essential Grid plugin as well. There might be some files that were corrupted. To re install the Essential Grid, please log in to your FTP and then browse to the plugins folder, wp-content/plugins/ and delete the “essential-grid” folder. Go back to your X > Validations > Extensions and install the Essential Grid plugin again.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi again,

I tried everything you mentioned. I reinstalled Wordpress, deleted Essential Grid using FTP and reinstalled it. I uninstalled all 3rd party plugins, unfortunately with no success. I had to delete my domain from the server and start all over again from scratch. Now it works fine! It seems that something was broken deep inside the code. Thanks for your help, guys.

Regards

Glad it’s working now! And thanks for sharing :wink:
