ESS Grid settings still not loading

Hi there,

I’ve spoken with the host company and they say everything is A-OK on their part. Yet the problem still exists.
This was suggested in this post - https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/ess-grid-settings-wont-load/49216/2

Please advise; I purchased the ESS Grid as part of the X Theme so I don’t even have the purchase code to ask for support from Code Canyon.
If a staging environment would help let me know. Otherwise, I’m asking you to please help me fix this.

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, please set up a staging first. I like to further troubleshoot it and disable other plugins but I won’t do that since it’s live site and may only further damage or affect your setup.

Though, if this is really host related then they (Themepunch/EG author) will recommend the same even if you buy the license from them. Though it’s still best to contact them directly if you wish to a have a direct conversation with the grid’s developer, but yes, you’ll have to buy a license directly from them.

Please try upgrading the:

  • WordPress Core to version 5.0.2
  • PHP Max Script Execute Time to 300s
  • PHP Max Upload Size to 512MB
  • PHP Version to 7.2.x
