Error when using Create as Component option: Unable to resolve Cornerstone component

I tried the new Create as Component context menu option (to an existing component document) and it failed with the below error.

PHP Warning: Unable to resolve Cornerstone component with id: qLXvv4ogBrDtDiGQha | cs43 in /wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/ElementData.php on line 152

When you reloaded the page did it work? Or was it all together broken?

The element I tried to turn into a component showed an error in its place and wasn’t functional anymore. I didn’t capture the error though and it’s gone now. Tried several other elements and they don’t immediately appear in the component document. Only after refreshing the component document the newly added component is in there. No error messages though.

I see a couple of these in the console:
