Element could not render

Hi there

We’re using the new CS 7.1.3. On a page we’re getting the error “layout-grid: This element could not render because its definition is missing. You might need to activate a plugin”.

We’ve added the famous “add_theme_support( ‘cornerstone-managed’, [ ‘handle’ => ‘x-stack’ ] );” line in the functions.php file and we have also allowed all classic elements in the CS settings.

How to debug further?

Tia

Hi @mediegruppen,

I have checked the given page URL but didn’t find any such issue in the Cornerstone. If you are still having the same issue, please provide a screenshot mentioning the section where you are having that. It will help us to replicate the problem.

Thanks

Hi

Sorry for using this account. I originally created the post from a wrong Theme X account. Anyway, here’s the page we have issues with https://www.uggerhoej.dk/cornerstone/edit/20398368

Thanks

Hi @mediegruppen,

I have checked the page and found the problem you described here. It seems that you have imported a demo that has been created using the Pro where the Grid element has been used and that is not available in the X you are using.
The Grid element is only available in the Pro, I would suggest you upgrade to the Pro theme to get the Grid element, please go through the process here: https://theme.co/docs/converting-from-x-to-pro and then go through the following article and video on Header Builder.

Thanks
