Editors cannot save Layouts

Hello everyone,

We have several users with editor rights in a project who are to take over the content management of the site and work directly in Cornerstone, among other things.

This works wonderfully for pages. Now they have also been granted the rights to edit layouts via Cornerstone > Settings. (Toggle All Permissions is active)

They see the layouts and can edit them. However, as soon as they save the layout, the layout is gone!
All elements are gone and the condition is removed.

What could be the reason for this?

I had a similar case in the past where the user did not have the rights to publish. However, all the fields under “Layouts” are activated here, so I can’t see where anything might be missing.

Can you help me here?

– WP Administrator Role
