@alexander, I’d love to se an ability to populate the Snippet extension with Dynamic Content.
I haven’t tested, it, but I see that there is no Dynamic Image or the option to add it to the dropdowns, so I figured the rest isn’t working either.

Thanks Misho! I’ll make a note to check into it.
Hey @charlie, We have this fantastic Snippet addon with Pro, but the problem is that it requires manual filling of the data. All that data already exists as dynamic content.
It would be amazing if we could automate this addon, like this:
Thanks!
We can certainly add Dynamic Content support for this. Have a great day
Hi @charlie!
The Snippet addon is still a huge power in Pro, laying dormant. This is because its practical use is massively reduced due to the need of manually maintaining it.
That could all change if only the Snippet addon could accept dynamic data. I don’t know how complex is connecting it to Cornerstone.
In addition, I noticed that some of the data is being pulled in automatically, which is great, but not for the products? Not even the name and the image, which is normally pulled into other Schema types.
It would be amazing if we had Global settings, where we could define the default dynamic data for each Schema type. Also, if not set manually, there are many possible automatic defaults that can be set upfront.
For example, there is a -- Select an currency -- dropdown. One of the options could be “Currency Symbol” which would return {{dc:woocommerce:currency_symbol}} This should be the default if WooCommerce is installed.
Also, it appears that there are missing fields in the product Schema, such as the Description, SKU, Global identifiers for Google merchant, rating data, etc. There are many Offer fields missing as well.
Basically, WooCommerce has those fields, it is just the matter of auto populating them, with an option to add custom fields when needed, from dynamic data.
Also, there is the Valid from field, but the Valid through is missing.
A way to send the page to the Schema Validator in a new tab would be great as well.
There is so much that can be done with it, but a start would be simply to allow Dynamic data in it, with defaults.
Sure, we can construct the Schema manually and use the dynamic data in it pretty easily, but there are still many less tech-savvy users that would appreciate the “Turn it on and forget it” way.
Thanks!
How amazing would it be if we had a powerful schema builder directly integrated in the Cornerstone UI? No more going back and forth between CS and wp-admin for entering schema data.
Nice to hear from you Misho. This is all really good stuff. I guess what I’m noodling in my head is how we take this plugin into the future. Because I don’t really want to recreate features that area already in Cornerstone. For example that Currency select box would already have a Dynamic Content option button if this was in Cornerstone. Having a Global Settings for snippet could also be handled inside the new Cornerstone Settings. Have you ever tried another Schema / Rich Snippets plugin? If so why did you find yourself using our plugin? Just curious what this plugins strengths are compared to the others.
Doesn’t WooCommerce already output the Product Schema? Does it not output Offer schema?
I’m going to sit on some of this and then whatever we decide I’ll probably start with the quicker items like currency symbol and sending the page to the schema.org validator. Have a great day.
You are right, WooCommerce does it automatically. That wasn’t the best example. I haven’t used other plugins much because I usually just build JSON-LD schema and drop dynamic data in it. I just noticed that dynamic content cannot be added to the addon, which is shame.
I see that many data is auto-populating, which is great. It seem that with the Article schema, The Description (Excerpt) is not picking up the native post excerpt. This is also an example where dynamic data support would be great, in case the description is coming from an ACF field, for example.
Local business is one of the most used structured data types, but I haven’t seen much support for multi-location businesses.
Also the Contact page, About page, etc.
With the raise of AI, Structured data is becoming more important than ever.
I’ll keep some of the other stuff you’ve brought up in mind. I agree structured data is very crucial in an AI centric world.
Appreciate you bringing up the description part. I think I can safely auto fill in that with the post excerpt if it’s empty.
Have a great weekend.
