Duplicating your testimonials page

I am putting together a testimonials page with the XPro testimonial element, but I would like to recreate what you did at the top of this page https://theme.co/testimonials with the staggered blocks and icons.

How was that done, it doesn’t appear to be with this included element.

Thanks

Hello Mark,

Thanks for writing in!

Are you referring to this section?

This is a custom-built hero slider and added the testimonials in it for our testimonial sales page.

Best Regards.

No, just below that where you have the nine staggered quotes, the actual user testimonials

Hi Mark,

My colleague has pointed out the correct section too, what you are expecting is requires customization and beyond the scope of theme support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where the customization questions are answered.

Thanks

No, your colleague pointed out the slider (incorrect section). Maybe I wasn’t clear in my question, I’m simply asking what “element” you used in the staggered grid testimonial section below the slider, because your included “testimonials” element does not appear to do the job. BLOCKQUOTE doesn’t do it either.

So with your non-answer I can only assume your testimonial section was not done with one of your own XPRO’s included elements. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

If you are trying to point out the section shown in the given screenshot, that can be acheive through the Accordion element. To know more about the element please go through the following article.

If that is not the section you are trying to point to, please give the exact section screenshot to get further help.

Thanks

I already added the screenshot and described it - grid style testimonials. Just look up to where I say “No, just below that where you have the nine staggered quotes, the actual user testimonials”

But I’ll add the same screenshot again for you - can you not see it?

Hi Mark,

Sorry that we are not able to understand which exact section you are trying to point out. You can acheive it using the combination of 3 column structure along with the container element like Card/Div which will contain the image and text. There are no exact prebuild element like it.

Thanks for understanding

I don’t know why you can’t understand this simple question, are you using the TESTIMONIALS ELEMENT
https://theme.co/docs/testimonial to create the actual TESTIMONIALS on this 3 column section of user testimonials - OR SOMETHING ELSE for:

Because the XTHEME TESTIMONIALS ELEMENT doesn’t look anything like this. Please ask for help before you answer again.

Hi Mark,

Unfortunately, the testimonial elements can’t be used to acheive that. And it has been mentioned in the last post what elements you need to use to achieve the referenced design.

Thanks

According to https://theme.co/docs/card#front-content-setup there should be a text box, and headline/ sub-heading text input. My card element has nowhere to enter any text, although the default text “short sweet headlines…” can not be edited or removed. Nothing is available to enable any type of text input for cards.

no-text-input

Hello Mark,

Sorry for the confusion. The section you were referring to was also a custom code element. You can replicate each item by inserting a DIV, Icon, Text, and another Icon and Headline element inside a DIV element. The structure would be like this:

We would be happy to create you an example if you can give us access to your site.

Best Regards.

Where do I edit the prefilled text “short sweet headlines are best" in CARDS. There is no text editing option in the card element. Send me a screenshot of where to edit that prefilled text please.

Hey Mark,

To edit the text, go to Front Content tab in the Card element’s settings (see screenshot)

Under Setup, click on Edit Text (see screenshot)

Same goes for the Back Content. Hope this helps!
