Disable stack for Buddypress pages after Update

Hi,

I had created a topic a little while back (Disable stack for buddypress pages) where you guys helped me disable the styles for the stack on Buddypress pages.

The code provided worked great but I recently updated my Pro theme to version 5.0.8 and unfortunately, the code does not work anymore.

I would appreciate your help with this again!

Thank you!

Hey @kgpthemex,

Thanks for writing in! Please follow the suggested code given by @Christian:

Best Regards.

@ruenel,

Thanks for the reply. I did try @christian’s solution as well as the other ones on that page. None of them worked.

Hi @kgpthemex,

I have checked the previously working code in my local environment and it worked perfectly with Pro version 5.0.8. I have also checked your website and found you are still using the 4.3.3 version and where the code is working. Can you please provide us some screenshot marked with the problem or any video that describe the problem with the recent version of Pro?
I would also request you check once by clearing all types of cache including Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser, if the issue exists after the update the Pro to its latest version.

Thanks

@tristup,

Thank you for the reply. It’s possible that the code is working. Even though the difference between the two installations is only the version of Pro, it looks like in version 5.0.8, the HTML Markup has been changed, which is what is mainly causing the difference in styles. The reason you see 4.3.3 is because I reverted to a previous installation.

But even then, I’m still seeing icon stylesheet overwriting the the styles in certain places. I will keep you guys updated with examples later.

I saw that you created a user account. I would have preferred it if you asked me to create the account for you from the back-end. The site is live and I do not own it. You registering from the front-end triggers emails that go straight to the client. At the least, I would expect you to ask me before you did it. I would appreciate you keep that in mind. I have deleted your account.

Thanks

Hi @kgpthemex,

Yes, I have created a User using my Email ID to test the pages after login and I will ask you if anything is required on this. Please post the examples with 5.0.8 to recognize the problem.

Thanks
