A problem i am running into is the Design Cloud which fails to load.

Unfortunately I cannot make out the error messages from the image you posted, but since the issue is relating to loading Design Cloud, can you check out the troubleshooting steps in this article and carry out the first three?

Overnight came an PRO update available which i installed this morning. Problem is solved now.
