Demos are stuck on initializing

I’m trying to install the demo content, Bamboo specifically, and I am stuck at initializing. I’ve tried the steps that have been suggested in other articles and nothing seems to be working.

Thank you for sharing the status of the website. I understand that you already have tried a few options, but as I do not know which steps you took, I’ll give the steps needed to be taken here:

  • You are using version 3.2.2. Please kindly update to version 3.2.3.
  • Please clear the WP Super Cache plugin and deactivate it. I also, suggest that you keep the plugin deactivated during the development phase.
  • The PHP memory limit of your server is 300M which is low comparing the number of plugins you already have on your installation. Please increase the PHP memory limit to 512M.
  • Please check the troubleshooting guide of Design Cloud here. Design Cloud is the new place to import the demo content and the demo content is called Sites now.
  • Deactivate the Jetpack plugin, and maybe all plugin for testing and try to import demo content. But the Jetpack plugin cache system sometimes is the problem cause.
  • Please contact your hosting service provider and make sure that theme.co domain is whitelisted.
