Delete banner on one page

I am setting up a shop page and would like to know if it is possible to delete the featured posts at the top and replace it with another banner just on the shop page. I would also like the shop page to have its own menu. Is that possible?

Thank you for reaching out to us. This is only possible with Pro, you can create a new Header using Header Builder with the banner image you’d like to show on the shop page and simply assign your newly created Header to shop page only (see https://theme.co/docs/header-footer-overview#how-to-assign-the-header-footer)

This will remove the Post Carousel and replace the menu with the one added in your custom Header. Hope this helps!

Thanks for reply. I’m a bit confused as your Ethos Demo https://demo.theme.co/shop-ethos/. does exactly this (Ethos is what I am using) and Pro did not exist when I purchased the theme 3 years ago. So I was just trying to replicate what your demo site does and has been doing long before Pro came along.

Please understand that the demo site, https://demo.theme.co/shop-ethos/, is an independent and separate install from other Ethos demos. If you do not want to display the post carousel, you can always disable it by going to X > Theme Options > Ethos > Post Carousel.

Now, if you want to have a separate menu in your shop page, you can make use of the One Page Navigation feature. Yes, the shop page only have the shop index. The One Page navigation menu assignment can still be used so that the shop page can have a separate menu. To do that, you can do the following:
1.) Go to Appearance > Menus and create the menu for the shop page.
2.) Go to Pages and edit the Shop page.
3.) While you are on the editing screen, find the Page Settings.
4.) Assign the newly created menu as the One Page Navigation menu so that it will be displayed on the shop page.
