Customize header php

Hi,

I am using a plug in (smart slider 3 pro) that requires the following php code to fully work (basically extend over the header): <?php
echo do_shortcode(’[smartslider3 slider=“4”]’);
?>

Where should I put this?

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out.

Since you are using the Pro theme, I suggest that you will create a custom header using the Pro Header Builder then you can add directly the shortcode [smartslider3 slider=“4”] to a raw element or text element so that you won’t modify any PHP files. To know more about the header builder, please check this out.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hi Marc,

I am actually using the X theme for this site, not the Pro theme. How does this change the process?

Thanks so much,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I would suggest you get the customizable header options by switching from X to **Pro, please go through the process here: https://theme.co/docs/converting-from-x-to-pro

Hope it helps.
Thanks
