Custom embedded player not working

Hi, I am using a custom embedded javascript player from buzzsprout (podcast player). The code worked like a charm on my current primary wordpress website (I am using Divi but will switch to Theme X). The javascript also worked initially on Theme X. I entered it via html as a text element, not a code snippet (the code snipped didn’t work at all). I’m on a staging site, but I think this shoudn’t really matter?

I am new to X, so maybe I am doing it wrong, but had issues with other forms as well. I am using Cornerstone for this.

Everything is freshly installed and up to date.

Thanks for writing in! Instead of using the text element, kindly use the content area or the raw content element and then place use the custom embedded javascript player from buzzsprout. You can check out the content area element here:
