CSS Not Rendering On Live Page, But Shown In Build Page

This relates to changes on 5.xx version of Pro.

The CSS code was working perfectly well and now it is not showing on the front end. Be aware, there have been no changes to the CSS, only that I updated the site to the latest version of X!

I have it on many pages so it is causing me a serious issue right now.

Would hope for a speedy resolution.

Leaving site info and login info in private message.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for reaching out!

I compare your live page and builder page but I don’t see any issues, they are just the same on my end. That being said, this could be a cache issue on your end. Just a heads-up, after doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If the issue still persists on your end, would you mind sharing how we can replicate it? Providing screenshots or videos is a great help.

Hope that helps.

I have cleared all cache’s, did that before putting the support ticket in.

Two screenshots, one shows front end and isn’t correct and the other is the back-end, which is obviously how it should render on the front end.

Regards,

Hi Glenn,

The credentials above is not working anymore, please check.

It would be best if you can revert the site back to stable PRO 4.3.3 for now, and set up a staging site where we can do the update and troubleshooting first.

Thanks,

I’ve checked the credentials and they are correct, please review.

Thanks,

Hello Glenn,

I went ahead and checked your settings it seems that there are CSS syntax errors on your Global CSS box, it might be the issue just because your custom style is not working. I would suggest you check and fix your custom CSS error from the CSSLINT.

Hope it helps
Thanks

I find the whole thing frustrating.

That part of the site hasn’t been changed, in fact there have been no changes to the site, except for updating to the “new and improved” Pro X.

Then it breaks and no one is in the slightest interested to get to the root cause.

Hmmm and a big frustrated sigh

Hi Glenn,

Did you change your SVG file? this is what I see on my end.

Backend

Frontend

Is the issue only happening with the original SVG file? Can you put it back so we can investigate it?

Thanks,

I changed my SVG file as I didn’t have much confidence that you guys were wanting to assist me with my issue.

The new one doesn’t have CSS, it is all in the HTML.

But clearly there is an issue with rendering the CSS

Reagrds,

Hi Glenn,

If you want to use the SVG, I suggest that you follow the recommendation by my colleague on this thread.

Once it is setup, please let us know.

Thank you.
