When CSAI is used then it’s likely that the site’s privacy policy must be updated to include the use of AI. Perhaps a Themeco/CSAI entry on wp-admin/options-privacy.php?tab=policyguide would be a helpful start?
When using any of the currently available AI providers does any data gets transmitted to Themeco? Does Themeco track anything related to the use of AI on a site? What about when your own in-house trained model gets implemented?
No data gets transmitted to us right now so I’m not sure we need a privacy entry there. We don’t track any AI usage as well, but some of the image generators usually store metadata related to that in the image. We can revisit when we release our own provider, but I doubt we’ll use user info. It sounds like that would cause more problems (privacy being just one) then a themeco employee dedicating time to train it. Thanks for the feedback.
Then indeed a privacy entry isn’t necessary. Good to know about this stuff. CSAI does not have access to any site data.
I remember in the closed beta I saw something about some data getting sent to Themeco if I’m not mistaken. That’s why I asked just to be sure.
