CS Forms Feature Request

Hi Charlie,

A good additional feature for CS Forms would be the ability to add a description to any field. This would be a text field to appear below the input field, allowing a fuller description for the field. Just like the existing Label field, this could be toggled on or off.

I am currently getting around this by using a standard text field with negative margin to bring it close to the input field, but I reckon a selectable description input would be a better idea!

Thanks,
Christopher

I put in a feature request for field descriptions during the beta. Think we’ll see it added at some point.

Thanks @JvP.

One further thing, Charlie, using my Text element version of the description and also using @CIHRS conditions plugin, I am not sure I can conditionally hide my description field, linked to the radio or checkbox input. I think this makes the description option a little more critical, though I know you are still sweeping up after such a major launch!

One other thing I have found would be highly useful - and I am sure @JvP has already noted it - is an address block input element (street_1, street_2, city, county, postcode/zip, country (with selector). My example is in UK/European format.

Thanks!
Christopher

Just a quick bump to see if (most importantly) field descriptions are on the close-end of the road map and if @JvP’s address fields suggestion are close by too? I now have several client websites looking for CS Forms, rather than WPForms and the conditional description field is the only downer!
