CS element displayed conditionally seems unreliable

Hi there,

I have CS header which displays divs conditionally. E.g. one div shall be rendered for specific pages, another one for a custom post type named “Learning Content”.
Upon changing only the border style of the parent bar element, the divs no longer show up. That’s really annoying. What is even more weird is that some Learning Content posts do show the div while others don’t. But the only condition (in that case) is post type … !!?? I tried deleting and reassigning the condition. But that wonÄt fix it.

As soon as I go into the page builder, the divs sometimes do work as expected but outside Cornerstone they don’t. Or: The div loads once or twice but disappears upon further refreshs. I have already cleared the cache in CS settings and the browser and updated permalinks – to no avail.
Help me solve this please …

Jens

Hi Jens,

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the exact reason without investigation. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific Header where you are having problem.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: Any screen capturing video will help us to recognize and replicate the issue.

Thanks

Hi @tristup!

Thank you for your quick reply! The header I am having trouble with is “SBI Header (German)”.

The page “Mein SBI” for example won’t show the container entitled “My SBI” (Title Bar -> My SBI). In CS everything looks fine (see screenshot).but not when viewed normally – the bar completely disappears.

Similar issue in my custom type “Learning Content” when using the same header (Title Bar ->Learning Content Header). In such “Title Bar” shall display a different container.

The container is indeed displayed correctly on some Learning Content posts (“20-Minuten-Meeting” for example looks fine) but fails to show on most of the others (e.g. “Mindset eines Social Business Investors”, “SBI Club Telegram-Channel” etc, see screenshot). Again, in CS everything looks perfectly fine, but not when viewed outside the CS app.

And this is what it actually looks like. The title container is missing in both cases (examples):

Jens

Hello Jens,

In your Title Bar, you have these two elements:

The SBI has this condition:

And the Learning Content Header container has this condition:

These conditions are correct. Before we continue to troubleshoot, we recommend that you update the Pro theme to the latest version first. You are currently using the Pro 6.1.9 while the latest one is Pro theme 6.2.9 already. You can check out the changelog here:

After the updates, please make sure to clear all your caches and test the page again. If nothing changes, you may also check this out:

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi @ruenel,

I updated to Pro theme 6.2.9 and cleared the cache in Brave and Safari – to no avail … :disappointed:

Jens

Hey @Paritor,

It could be that there is some conflict with the plugins or your website setup. Another way around to fix your issue is to set {{dc:url:path}} as mein-sbi where mein-sbi is the page slug.

Hope that helps.
