Howdy! I want to have the countdown timer count down 5 minutes on a page after a form is submitted – not a countdown to a date in the future. Is this possible? Or do I need to find a separate plugin for this feature?
Hello @jenniferljl,
Thanks for posting in!
With the Countdown element, you can disable the Day unit and then just set the time.
Kindly check this documentation for more details about the Countdown element:
Best Regards.
I’ve already read the documentation, which is why I wrote this post. The documentation does not address this configuration.
Do you see in the Coutdown Setup, you have to select an end date? How do you disable that so that the page loads a 5 minute countdown set from page load, instead of a future date?
Not sure how else to say what I’m looking for.
I don’t want the count down from a future date.
I want the countdown to start from the load of the page.
Hello @jenniferljl,
You needs a specific date to be able to use the Countdown element. Regretfully it does not work with only using a time setting. Our countdown element is what most people think of when they imagine a timer. This element counts down to a certain fixed point. That might be the launch of a website, the end of a sale, or another event.
You want to have the countdown timer count down 5 minutes on a page after a form is submitted. This is more of a delay timer which is not what our Countdown element is for. Maybe you need a dynamic timer plugin instead. Perhaps the WordPress plugin might help you:
Thank you for your understanding.
