That feature is exclusive for the Ethos stack which you can easily set some options from the Theme Options area.
Since you are using the Renew stack on your site, you do not have the access to this feature.
Adding it could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Each Stack has its own look and feel allowing you to create virtually any look you desire. Difference between Ethos and Renew stack lies behind the nature of the website you are looking for. For example ethos has the post slider and post carousel which is only available for that stack. It was meant for news/magazine type sites. On the other hand using Renew stack you can design a product or company related website.
I would also suggest you to take a look at following article that explain the concept behind stacks and the thought process behind each of the stacks.
