Cornerstone stoped working

Cornerstone ist not saving our pages anymore. It says saved but the loading bar is not coming to an end.
On top of that the templates section is also not showing up. Just a grey background.

Please help us, we urgently need to update the website

Hi there,

Can you confirm if you’ve tested for a plugin conflict please? And could you let me know what was the last aspect of the site that was updated before it broke, for example an update etc?

thanks for your quick reply!
I wasn’t updating any plugin but I installed the Wordpress Importer and imported some old posts from an old site.
I also created the new custom post type “Kontent” But I worked some time on the site after that until it wasn’t saving anymore.

I deactivated all plugins, updated from X to Pro… newly installed Cornerstone but the Template Section still won’t show up. After reloading the page approx 3 times the section shows up but the it will not save the page. It says saved but the loading bar stays at 95%
Same pages will save after reloading a couple of times.

We need your help because right now the page is completely unusable and we have an event coming up where a lot of money went into.

Hi Jack,

after extensive testing I could narrow down the problem to the polylang plugin.
Is there any possibility to provide a fix for this? The problem seems to be the cornerstone-endpoint wich can’t be found

Hi Lely,

sorry we switched to WPML for a day to try it but had more difficulties to move all the stuff from polylang to wpml.
We’re now back on polylang and Cornerstone stopped working again.

Is there any chance to find a hack to get polylang an cornerstone start working again?

Hello There,

I edited your homepage and added a section. I have hidden it so it would not be visible in all screens. My changes were being saved and it has been reflected on the homepage. What you are experiencing could just be a PHP memory limit exhaustion. We recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );`

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

Hey RueNel,

thanks for your help. I increased the memory limit in the config file and in my hoster php.ini but no change.
The thing is, I can safe the frontpage as well but the custom post type pages like “Programm” and “Kontent” are not working at all.

Hi there,

Unfortunately the Cornerstone and Pro Builder (If you are using Pro you need to delete Cornerstone) are not compatible with Polylang and WPML completely at the moment.

We are in the same boat regarding the WPML and Polylang compatibility and this is our highest priority. Our development team is doing its best to make this compatible with upcoming releases.

There is no ETA at the moment regarding this. Please kindly stay tuned for upcoming releases.
