Cornerstone plugin update is crashing site and main nav drop down issues

Hi, I’m updating an older site to a newer version of X theme and using the cornerstone plugin.

Site url is listed in the secure note

I installed Pro, and updated the theme to 7.2.3, Wordpress version is 6.1.3

Cornerstone plugin version is 7.2.9

If I attempt to update any of these three, even individually, - the site crashes.

In the current version on the site, the main menu drop downs have also stopped working.

Hey Dave,

In your dev site, I see you’re still using X not Pro so I believe you only installed Pro but didn’t activate it.

Anyway, if you want to use Pro, please ensure you have installed the latest version (currently version 6.3.8). After that, update WordPress to the latest version (currently version 6.3). That will unlikely to crash your site because Pro will deactivate Cornerstone plugin because it doesn’t need it. And, the latest version avoids the crashing issue.

If you still want to use X and Cornerstone, make sure to update them to their latest version before updating WordPress.

Hi @christian - thank you! I was under the impression that the cornerstone plugin had to be activated in order to use the builder. I successfully deactivated the plugin and can still use the front-end builder - awesome!

Can you assist with this menu drop down issue? On the main menu on desktop - non of the sub menu drop downs are showing on hover or click and I am not sure what is causing this.

Hi Dave,

I have checked your website to investigate the navigation problem you are facing, but, unfortunately, the website is not accessible and is showing a 502 error. I would suggest you check and let us know once it is ready to access.

Thanks
