Cornerstone Pages has old content in WordPress editor showing in SERP's

Hello.

I have an issue where our website pages with new content is showing old content from a long time ago when looking in the WP editor for the page as classic content.

This is being picked up in search engines and Google AI as well as Rank Math LLMS.txt file.

Rank Math said the following:

"Please note that Rank Math fetched the description from the excerpts of your page, but it seems like even though you’ve updated the content with Cornerstone page builder, the actual content of your page was not updated.

In this case, you can get in touch with Cornerstone support and inform them about this issue.

Once the actual content of your page is updated, Rank Math will automatically change the LLMs.txt file."

I have tried to save the page(s) as page templates and delete the content in the WP editor -> then loading the page again in Cornerstone and enable the page template, but the issue is still there.

Seems the old content I see in WP editor is somehow saved with the template.

This is an important timely issue I am hoping to get resolved as soon as possible, please.

Thank you!

Update:

It seems i had some elements in my pages I had kept for reference, but where all “hidden”.

How come these show up in the page HTML if they are supposed to be hidden?

This caused quite some issues.

In any case, love Pro Theme and any advise is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey @sprod,

Thanks for writing in! If you have used the “Hide During Breakpoints” feature, the element is still rendered on the page, viewable on the page source code but not visible to the naked eye. With the latest Pro theme, you should use the Visibilty Feature.

Best Regards.

HI RueNel!

Thank you we are now, but since there were older setting I had no idea this was happening.

Messed things up a bit with Google but hopefully it will resolve soon.

Thanks again!
