Cornerstone only recognizing some pages

Help Please - New site - all pages created in Cornerstone, currently only some pages are being recognized, even though all pages were created with Cornerstone. More than 12 pages will not display, however I can see the content in them on the back end.

Also, unrecognized pages show as blank when viewing website. What happened, this should not happen.

Also receive errors when trying to insert templates into new pages.

Please note that Cornerstone will not lose its contents without external actions, whether manual or automatic. If you’ve done any in the list below, that could be the cause and there are only 2 solutions:

  1. Rebuild the pages
  2. If you still have the staging of the website, save the pages as a template using the Template Manager then import the pages to the live site.

Below are examples of manual actions:

  • Editing the page outside of Cornerstone like switching to the default WordPress editor.
  • Updating the database tables related to the post.

Below are examples of automatic actions:

  • 3rd party plugins editing the database
  • Content takeover by other page builders

Are all of my templates within Cornerstone broken as well, is that why I cannot import them into new pages? Can I save the working pages as templates and export them? What about a solution like BackupBuddy for migrating, will that cause problems as I cannot seem to get a definitive answer from the forums?

Possibly, it sounds like Cornerstone data is corrupted on your site. I’ve seen cases where BackupBuddy caused Cornerstone corruption after migration. Maybe there’s a function in BackupBuddy that corrupts the database. We don’t actually know since it is a 3rd party tool. We do not have control over it and it’s not a tool we suggested in our Migration article.
