We just updated the version of X and the cornerstone plugin on our site. Now when I hit the “Edit with Cornerstone” button on pages it just takes me to a blank white page with the loading icon. The same happens when I try to go directly into Cornerstone from the dashboard. What do I need to change to fix this?
Further info, I just followed the instructions here: https://theme.co/docs/how-to-increase-php-memory-limit#increasing-the-php-memory-limit-using-wordpress to increase the memory limit to the suggested amount and have seen no change in the issue.
Hi Michele,
Thank you for writing in, and sorry to hear that you’re having that issue, please confirm that you have the latest version of WordPress (5.4.2) as well.
And remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.
Cheers!
Hi @friech,
Thank you for your response! Going through and doing each cache purging piece that you recommended has fixed the problem. I don’t know which step it was that did it, but at the end of clearing everything I could find, Cornerstone is functioning again!
For reference, we were in the most up to date version of Wordpress, so whatever was going wrong, this wasn’t it!
Thanks!
