Cornerstone Forms - External API

Hello,

I am trying to send the data taken from cornerstone forms (e.g. “first_name” and “email_address” and send it to Kit’s API endpoint for creating a subscriber.

I know the api key is working and have tested it in postman separately.

For some reason, I cannot figure out why it won’t send the data from the form. I know it is submitting without errors but i can’t see the response anywhere. they aren’t even showing up in the form submission area inside of the wordpress dashboard. I have troubleshooted this quite a bit and worked with APIs and webhooks of all kinds. I don’t understand why it won’t work. Can someone help me please?

Best Regards.

I have created a new user for you.

Hey Joseph,

Can you correct the keys in the Form > Submission first? The keys don’t exist.

I changed it to “email_address” but it still didn’t come through. Am I missing something? I can’t get the “External API action” to work either. Please help.

Try testing via the “API Tester” prefab. That way you can see all status codes and headers sent back from the api server. The controls in the External API Action will be the same as the External API Looper. Let us know if that helps.
