Cornerstone 5.2.3 compatibility with X 7.2.3

Is Cornerstone version 5.2.3 compatible with X version 7.2.3 ?
Does X have to be upgraded prior to Cornerstone or are they independent of each other?

Thanks for writing in! The Cornerstone 5.2.3 is compatible with the X theme 7.2.3. Once you update Cornerstone, you will also have to update the X theme. The latest release is now out in automatic updates, Dashboard > Updates. Please make sure that you update to X 8.3.1, Cornerstone 5.3.1. Please check the changelog here:
