Copy sections into tabs

Hello, I’d like to revamp a specific page on our website. I would like to replicate the page and give it a new design. Specifically, I want to add three tabs at the top to house all six existing sections. Could you guide me on the most efficient approach to achieve this without the need to reconstruct each section? Is there a method to copy a section and paste it into a tab? Additionally, what’s the recommended way to duplicate a page for initial development before making it live? The URL is: https://www.snpnyc.org/need-help/ Please provide your recommendations. Thank you.

Hello @Jennine,

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that the Section element is one of the container elements. You cannot copy and paste a container element into another container element. You may be able to copy the ROW, DIV, or GRID element added inside the Section element. Did you know that when you are in the builder, you can copy any element from one tab to another? Take a look at this video.

Best Regards.

Thank you for your response and the provided video. Is it possible to duplicate a row by copying and pasting it into a tab element? I aim to have rows and columns within each tab. Alternatively, is there a method to create the layout elsewhere and utilize a shortcode to insert the designed content into each tab? I recall achieving this using Global Blocks; however, I can’t seem to locate them. Am I overlooking something?

Hi Jennine,

You can create the Componenets like the Global Blocks and use it in a similar way. I would suggest you go through the following documentation and let us know if you need any further help on this.

Thanks
