Copied archive page retains data from its copy

I’ve copied a category page and renamed it to reflect the added category. In the Cornerstone editor it appear as expected. When I view the page live, while it has the URL it’s supposed to have, it thinks it is another archive page (and not even the one I used as a copy).

Any idea what’s going on?

Hey @sjr1917,

Please provide the following info in a Secure Note and we’ll check why the template is not working correctly.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Hi @sjr1917,

If you have created multiple Archive Layouts, you need to set the Priority lower for applying the specific one. Here you need to set any lesser value like -20 and check.

Urgh!! I had created a page titled Patriotic that was conflicting with the category archive. Trashed & deleted it and all was well.
