Convert Plus Authentication with Aweber

I am unable to authenticate Convert Plus with Aweber. I am getting an error where after signing in to Aweber via the pop-up, given the authentication code, copy and pasting the authentication code. The button to “Connect to Aweber” is not activating and I am stuck.

Trying it again after uninstalling Aweber addon as well as Convert Plus plug-in. Same result.

Also, when I click “Authenticate Aweber” to pull-up pop-up with Aweber login, the background screen goes blank. I have to reaccess the screen shown here in the picture with the browser “back” button

Thanks for writing in! Can you please make sure that you are using the latest versions. to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 3.2.3
  • WordPress 5.3.2
  • Convertplus 3.5.6

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If updates does not help, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:

– WordPress Admin username / password

  1. Convert Plus Plug-in is updated
  2. Wordpress is updated
  3. X theme is current
  4. Updated from 7.0 to 7.3 PHP
  5. Cleared Cache

I will uninstall and reinstall now and shoot you an update.

Hello William,

You seem to forgot to send the Authorization code. We cannot check the final step in creating new campaigns with Aweber. We recommend that you also review the steps in creating the campaign. Please check out this guide first:

I appreciate your time so much. I have followed the reference guide. Step 7 is not working. Here is a 2 min screencast showing what is happening to me. I am sending the Authorization code but it is just not working. Please advise.

I am going to tinker with this tomorrow with as many plugins disabled as possible and see where that gets me.

i deactivated all the plugins and still have same problem. Covert Plus looks promising but has already wasted more time then it is worth.

I just dropped a custom form in. It does not look native to the pop-up but it will work. Let me know if you have any ideas

Can you please confirm that you have created at least one list on aweber that can be integrated with Convert Plus?

If that is a yes, please try to share aweber credentials so we can try it and see the issue directly.

Aweber seems to be set up properly from what I can see. Yes, I have one list called “Home Purchasers”
