Contact form 7 - SMTP problems continued

This is actually a follow-up to the following thread: Contact form 7 error message "There was an error trying to send your message...."

I installed the new suggested plugin. I now get this information from the log file: “incorrect authentication data”. After looking into it, it seems there maybe a SMTP issue from the host server requiring altering the tweak settings.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for the follow up. The error you shared from the log file is usually related to the SMTP User Authentication details you have configured (or not configured) in your email settings, your host will be able to fix this for you.
