Contact Form 7 Internet Explorer issue 2

Hi Support,

Test environment: https://staging01.contactform7.testdirect.nl/

Contact Form 7 form with a Date field picker not submitting on Internet Explorer. The error message below is displayed in the console:

SCRIPT5022: Exception thrown and not caught
wp-polyfill-fetch.min.js (1,489)

If you change Wordpress theme to, for example, Twenty Twenty-One, you can submit the form without any problems.

Hi Support,

That’s a bummer. The primary function of a supported plugin is not working. While I understood from the latest release notes that you guys would still support Internet Explorer the current and upcoming version.

Last time @alexander fixed a number of IE issues in the beta form. So that is no longer an option?
