Conditions for components

is it possible to get conditions for exportet components in the builder? because now we dont have that.
or can we do this with parameters?

Depends what you mean. If you are trying to access element properties, there was a feature request for accessing element data in Dynamic Content, so in this example it would be {{dc:element:show_conditions}}. I ended up misplacing this branch, but let’s get this feature back on the books.

Or do you just want the conditions UI to show up? Can you explain how you want to use the conditions?

Pro 6.x Accessing Component ID

I wonder if there is already a hidden parameter for this, or if it could be added in, to be able to access some kind of unique Component ID via dynamic content, such as ‘{{dc:p:id}}’. The specific use case I am come across is things like modal button hashtags and accordion groups, as well as generating SVG content that has within it a clippath ‘#shape’ which needs to be unique for each instance of the Component in use. If this makes sense, it would be a great handy feature to have. In the past…

what i would like to do is this:
if i have created a component in the component builder and then go to export component and then load this component in the normal page/layout builder i would like to have a tab like now for all “standard” elements

if that doesn’t work, the conditions field would be enough for me to set conditions.
a class would of course also be great

Okay I gotcha. When you have the component on a page. Use the “cog” to find the section that says “Enable Customization”. That’ll display the customize tab. Let me know if that helps and have a great day!
