Comment section to Custom Post Layout

Created a new custom single blog post layout. In 2023, latest PRO, how do I add a comment section?
What am I missing?

Thanks for writing to us.

I would suggest you go to your layout and add the Comment Form element. Please have a look at the screenshot.

If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin-level username and password
• Exact layout URL

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

So embarrassing. Of course I thought it would be that simple but when I looked for it the first time I could not get it to come up! But it is now.
I was like, there is no way they did not make this easy.

I might have replied too soon!
So I added the Comment Form, all looks great.
I submitted a comment, I have all settings for Discussions set correct in the backend. I can see the two comments are approved and should be on the posts. But they are not.

Do I need to do some settings from with in the post layout for the comment form itself?

Hello @Noellemena,

Please note that the Comment Form can be used for only comments on the post from the users. To display the comment you need to insert the " Comment List " element.
