This has been a bug since 1.x and never fixed.
Sometimes when you choose one of your template colors in a color picker box, and then go up top to choose maybe a slightly lighter or darker shade you quickly realize that when you clicked the template swatch, the color picker didn’t place the marker on the color you just picked, but rather some random shade of that color. Please fix this.

I’ve tested this out and can’t reproduce it on the latest version. Are there specific controls that you’re seeing this happen with more often than others?
