Close off-canvas from menu item

Hi,
I set up an off-canvas so that it is triggered from a menu-item. (The off-canvas is a global block)

I followed this topic:

How do I trigger off canvas content using a menu item? I have searched Support but couldn’t find anything specific.

The menu item works as a trigger to open the off-canvas but

I have the same issue as in the above topic -> I can’t close the Off Canvas content with the X button or by clicking outside the off-canvas.

I tried to add the JS codes mentioned in the topic, but it doesn’t work.

To close the off-canvas I must click twice on the X button…

It normally close by clicking the X button or outside the off-canvas. It might be something else is the reason behind your issue, there might be some different reasons behind your reason. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue **if you have activated it.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN
