Click a looper (custom post type) item to show its post content on page

Hey pro crew.
I’m hoping to build a page that has a list of post items, but the ability to either:

A. click on the item and show/load the post body content in a specific div (ajax or just show/hide?)
B. load the post body content in a modal.

Is this kind of thing possible?
