Classic Slider 'Fade' Broken?

Hi Xters,

I’m seeing exactly the same issue described in this post.

He/she says: “Hi there! I am using a classic slider. Do you have recommended animation slide speed and slide length so that the fade feature isn’t so jumpy? It starts to fade nicely and then abruptly jumps to the next photo.”

Your reply was to use the (new) sliders…

The classic slider cross-fade has always worked smoothly until pretty recently… does this mean that it’s permanently broken and won’t be repaired?

Thanks for writing to us.

It is outdated in terms of features and functionality. It will still work though. Sooner or later, a difference in the rendered output depending on the browser will occur. Still, rest assured it will not stop working.

I would suggest you set the Animation Speed as 5000 or 7000 and then check. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

I would also recommend you use the updated version of the Slider element to get more features and options.
