Changing Z Index on a continer in the header bar

I would like to allow a container to expand above the other containers in my top header bar - to accommodate a fly out vertical menu from the left side.

Regretfully, I’m not 100% sure what you wish to achieve. Would you mind providing us a sketch what the end result would look like?

If you mean you want to increase the width of the 1st container, try setting the Container’s Self Flex to Fill Space. To learn more about what the Flex options do, please check out our tutorial here https://theme.co/docs/use-flex-layout
