Changing the global font "breaks" the preview until refresh

Long story short, I’m seeing some really strange behavior when updating fonts in the font manager.

If I go into the Font Manager, and change to a different Google Font, the builder will sometimes flip to a serif fallback font.

Sometimes it won’t update the builder at all, and will continue showing the old font.

Other times, the inspector will go completely blank.

I haven’t checked to see if this happens in production versions yet. In all cases, saving and then reloading the page will load things correctly.

Thanks Devin! I’ve not seen it crash the inspector (likely already fixed on my end by something else) but it’s consistently not loading the new font until you refresh the page. Looking into it!

When the inspector crashed, I think it was when I switched the font a few times without refreshing the page.

Thanks! I’ve just pushed beta6 including a fix for the fonts not loading. If the Inspector crashes, let me know if you see any errors in the console. I wasn’t able to repro this exact issue, but I have a feeling it was fixed by something else we corrected.

Unfortunately, I’m still having the same issue when I change fonts (same thing happens on the two test sites I tried it on).

Confirmed. For now the best thing would be saving fonts, then the page, then refreshing the builder.
